Mobile fashion app Poshmark celebrated the release of a brand new feature within the latest 2.0 version of their app called PoshMatch.
This new PoshMatch update, according to Poshmark’s product team, brings Poshmark to a completely new personalized level by customizing each users feed to match their own personal style.
For people who buy and sell on Poshmark, this means that items that you like, share or buy are used to help figure out what shows up on your feed. Other features in Poshmark 2.0 that makes shopping on Poshmark even easier than before are the new “shares” tab and the “favorite brands” feature. Through the “shares” tab, users can now view a collection of the listings they have shared all in one place and the “favorite brands” feature allows users to find “just listed items” for the brands they follow, which Poshmark users can now view through the new “about” section in every users closet.
Updates are currently only available for i0s users, but according to Poshmark, Android users should expect updates within the next few weeks.
From the EIC: As a Poshmark user, I can’t be entirely objective with stories like these. After all, I had the honor of joining the Poshmark team, other Poshmark users and fashion bloggers at Bar Agricole in San Francisco to celebrate this release. Manish Chandra, the founder and CEO of Poshmark, talked briefly about the new update and the year-long road to the PoshMatch release as well as how much he’s seen Poshmark grow. I can honestly say that a growing community does exist on Poshmark. As Chandra mentioned, hundreds of millions of interactions are made through Poshmark and I, for sure, have contributed to that insane number. As a Bay Area native, it’s very cool to see a local startup like Poshmark continue to grow and develop innovative ideas.
